Three days, four. More worry but a new feeling was coming over the house. It was a sense of normalcy. Diana loved seeing James and Seren together. She was happy to see that the Old Seren was coming out.

She was even taking more freedoms and dressing her self in the new clothes. James was ring shopping for her. He did have his own money. Giovanni seemed to have left an inheritance for him. Chad thought the news of this little inheritance would be useful for James considering he had proposed to Seren.

And Diana, she was doing her part to help. She and Drake had snuck off to purchase that wedding gown for Seren as a gift. Seren had really loved it and it seemed like she would be needing it. The girl was planning a wedding to happen soon. But she didn’t know they bought it for her yet. They were gonna surprise her.

In fact she was also looking at house and realtor adds. In a beautiful show of Adult Seren nature, she went to Chad and told him that she appreciated all of his hospitality but it was time that she and James got to go on. Chad was certainly impressed.

The plans were all coming together. James had even bought Seren her puppy that she wanted the other day. He had the Black spots like she wanted and he was just adorable. His breed type was called a Harlequin and she loved him to death.

Things were definitely feeling normal. James would chuckle when he saw her running outside and playing with the pup. She was expanding and not needing him so constantly be around her. That was a huge step for her considering that James was like a security blanket for her in a lot of ways.

He was so much more than that to her though. She loved him and all her plans were coming together because of that realization.

“Little James! Come on!”

The Dane puppy named after James. Seren was outside this day and playing in the pasture. James chuckled and looked outside the window at her. He was helping Gerald with some things inside.

“So Master James? Has The Miss showed you her wedding guest list yet?”

“Yes.” looking around. “She’s invited the Horse people, Miss Diana and Her Fiancee. Mr. Chad and you..well..and me..but I’m the groom so I have to be there.”

“She wants the wedding to be outside. I thought we should hire a coordinator to..decorate things.” Gerald picked up a Magazine that Seren had been looking at. “Oh..she’s picked out a house it seems.”

“What? She didn’t tell me that.” Walking over to him. “How can you tell?”

“The Stick figures with the stick figure dog drawn on the picture of the house. It’s also circled and it sais Our house on it.” He opened the page up to show him. “Nice little house. Four bedrooms, A pool, A large front and back yard. A wooden Privacy fence and lots of land. Seven acres in California. You’ll need the space ..considering how big her little James will get.”

“I wish she’d tell me this stuff. How can I get it for her if she doesn’t tell me?” James took the Magazine. “I can certainly afford it..but..I wonder if..she wouldn’t like to live on the other side of..a beautiful island paradise with a house that looks just like this.”

“Do you think taking her back to that island would really be good for her, Master James?”

“Maybe not..huh?” Smiling, nodding. “I guess..I could call about this. I want to ..give her everything.”

“Might be a good wedding present for her, sir. I am also aware that Miss Diana and Drake have purchased the wedding dress that she likes..for her.”

“What? Already? She found a dress? I need..colors..to match her. I can’t het a Tux without knowing colors. Gah! I’m the groom. I need to be told these things.”

“Calm down, sir.”

“Easy for you to say. I..need to talk to her..yeah. Maybe we can discuss all of this and I’ll actually know what’s what.”

“Sir..I don’t think she knows that the dress was purchased for her.”

“She doesn’t.” Diana waved at them from the stairs. “It’s a surprise.”

“Okay so..no telling her but..I need ..colors..to ..match..her. Help me out here, Miss Diana? I’d like..some part in this wedding since I’m the groom.”

“You’ll need an Ice Blue color Cumber bun. I can’t show you the dress but I can say that it has a beautiful kind of Ice blue hint to it. And that it’s a beautiful, beautiful dress.” She smiled at him. “You can talk to Drake about helping you pick out a tux, huh? He knows the color.”

“I still need to get her a ring. When is she planning this for?” James was starting to panic. “I need to know.”

“Calm down, sir.” Gerald shook his head. “Breathe.”

“Drake...Love. I think you need to go shopping alone with Our boy here so he can get a few necessities.”

“Me?” Drake exited the kitchen with a colored cookie in hand. “Sure. I can do that. When do you want to go?”

“As soon as possible..” James turned. “Seren?”

“Master James?” Gerald raised a brow. “What is it?”

“Seren..” James took off running for the door. “Seren!”

“James!!”

Her scream came louder when he tore the door open and dashed out. Drake immediately followed and Diana gasped. She started to follow but Gerald grabbed her.

“No Miss..You must not.”

“Drake..James..” Diana frowned. “You have to go get Chad, Now!”

“Stay here.” Gerald stepped back. “Stay..”

The butler ran to get Chad. Diana ran to the window and looked outside worriedly.

James was rushing towards the screams. They were coming from the far side of the pasture. Seren was Struggling against Giovanni. The rat had come out of the wood work to spoil the plans.

“Let me go!” Kicking her feet, Screaming. “Let me goo!!” Seren Yelled loudly. “James!!”

Her puppy, snarling, growling. His hackles were raised and he was glaring down at Giovanni. The Man kicked at the attacking pup. Little James yelped and was kicked back. Seren gasped and hit at his arms even more.

“No! Little James! Let me go!”

“Down Pony! Down Caballo! Bad Caballo!” He threw her down to the ground and pinned her. “Down!”

Giovanni glared coldly at her and she was crying as she looked up at him. Seren struggled again and tried to kick but he was straddled over her.

“Down!” Giovanni yelled again. “Be a good Caballo and accept what is coming.”

He leaned down to kiss her neck and he screamed out. Little James, who was Big for a pup, was latched onto his arm and snarling. He growled and Giovanni rolled off while trying to pull the dog off. The Pups teeth were digging into his arm. Then again, he wasn’t a young pup exactly. He was six months old so he did have some size to him.

“Little James!” Seren forced her self to get up to her feet. “Noo!”

Giovanni was hitting at the pure bred Dane but the dogs jaws were locked. Little James snarled and gave a last shake of his head and tore arm skin and clothes away as he jumped to the ground. He protectively put him self between Seren and Giovanni.

“You Stupid Beast! I’ll kill you!” Giovanni’s arm bleeding badly.

He went to charge but was thrown aside. He was suddenly slammed into by James from the side. James rolled to the side and got to his feet. Giovanni was pushing him self up slowly. His eyes fixed on James.

“You...Bastard...” The man held his arm. “How DARE you try and take what is mine without earning it!”

Seren grabbed onto Little James and trembled. She was shaking badly and crying. Little James Nuzzled her and snarled towards Giovanni.

“Stay back, Seren..” James Circled to put him self between Seren, Little James and Giovanni. “You’re the Bastard! She’s not yours! She never was! Seren is My heart!”

“James...” Seren’s whimper soft.

“She isn’t mine!? Yes she is! I had her bred! I chose who her Mother would be! I chose who my stallion would breed with! And it was ME that got rid of the mare afterwards!”

“Seren! James!” Drake came running up. James actually outran him. “What the..”

He slid to a stop. Giovanni had a torn open arm. James was between him and Seren and the dog had a bloodied mouth. He now knew where the torn open arm came from.

“This is My fight, Drake..Stay back.” James warned.

“Your fight? Do you actually mean to tell me that you ..a half animal..can take me, your MASTER, out?” Giovanni sneered. “Move aside Bastard boy. I will deal with you later..”

“No! You will deal with me now. I’ve had enough of you. This ends here and now.”

“James..” Seren hugged her puppy still as she watched. “Be careful..”

“James..” Drake spoke. “Don’t sink to his level..He wants you to do this, son.”

“You keep out of this Stallion!” Giovanni hissed. “Horses keep their mouths shut when in the presence of masters.”

“Oh no.” Chad finally came running up to the little scene now. “Giovanni!”

“It’s the powder puff..come to help? Well don’t!” The man glared at his son, James. “Come on boy..Just you and me.”

“That’s right..Just you and me. Stay out of this Master Chad, Drake. I know what I’m doing. I am not sinking into his depravity. I am sticking up for what’s right and that is Seren and me. You will no longer be a threat in our lives, Giovanni.”

“Than lets go.” Giovanni let his hand come forward and motioned the boy forward. “Ever Dance With the Devil in Pale Moonlight, Animal?”

“As you wish!”

James had been pushed and pushed. He’d had enough and he wasn’t going to let Giovanni ruin their lives anymore. Chad was worried because he feared that this would push James into that darkness.

“James!!” Seren yelled.
