"Sir Jeff, i came across a short post in the "Sir Jeff Guestbook"
by a "Natasha" from Canada (Nov. 7, 2005 entry).
i was intrigued by her "Russian Name" and sent her
an e-mail to compliment her on it's "Slavic" imageries . . .
one of those being the "Troika" . . . the three horse sled.
i wrote this poem for Your site in Natasha's honor . . ."
a canter 'cross the snow blanketed steppes . . .
the three pony sled glided . . . bells tinkling gaily gait . . .
like the Beatle's song, they synchronize "all together now" . . .
in purrrfect step they slide the sled along and do not hesitate.
the guidance of this motion-art, the ponygirl who leads . . .
she's called aloud by name: Natasha!
from the north-country lands she's come . . .
one of the finest of the "ponygirl breeds".
with sprightly step Natasha struts her mane a-breeze. . .
her pride apparent: elegance in glide . .
warming the hearts within the sleigh
over the ice and snow that freeze.
