Late Sunday Night

Blaze heard the code being entered on the outside door. Patty had packed up that afternoon since Mac and William were returning early in the evening.

The door swung open and Mac walked in. he was dressed casually in a blue denim shirt, washed so often it was nearly white, and jeans that could fit the same description. His boots were equally worn. He knew that when William and he traveled together they made quite a sight with his friend looking like a stock broker or a blue-blood royal. He often resembled the poor cousin. Financially they were equals, but he never cared much for clothes so fine you couldn't be comfortable in them. And working in the barns and stables, he didn’t have to worry where you stepped, sat or leaned through out the long days.

He saw Blaze was sitting on her mattress using the squeeze ball to strengthen her hands and arms.

She looked up and smiled.

God! He couldn't believe how much he had missed her. His heart slammed hard in his chest.

She got to her feet and skipped towards him. Without pause she wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly to her naked breasts.

Mac knew he was in heaven. He allowed himself to hug her lightly. Lifting one hand, he started to rub her mane. “What the hell!” he pulled away to look at her mane. She had roached like a real horse. His beautiful, feminine little Blaze had been given a flattop!

Damn!

He cursed silently. Sure it would grow back, but he loved her red hair. Once more he put his palm on the top of her head. Rubbing back and forth, he felt the crisp feel of the hair, tingling against his skin. Then he saw the tear on her cheek and knew she was as unhappy as he. Next he felt her shiver as he continued to pet her mane, deciding it felt like a rich, fur pelt. He continued, watching as she squirmed under the stimulation. Perhaps it had some advantages after all, he pondered.

“Big surprise, huh?”

Blaze pulled away a few moments later. Looking up, she waited for Mac to speak.

“Did you enjoy your slumber party? And you’ve been running every day and doing well I understand. Do you feel good?”

Blaze nodded. She stepped back and sat down on her mattress. She was curious why he had come to see her tonight rather than in the morning.

Mac watched her gracefully lower herself to the floor. Even with a silly haircut, she was still beautiful enough to take his breath away at times. He had hoped being away from her for a few days would help him make his decision. It had not.

“We had a very fruitful trip. Much more so than I had anticipated in fact.” He sat down and pulled her over to half lie across his thighs. Stroking her hair, he went on. “William saw two new fillies he wanted, so we purchased those. One is for breeding in a year or two and the other should be a good racer.” He leaned back, resting against the wall.

Blaze shifted, draping more across him, letting her body go limp.

“William went to every party, but those things bore me to tears. I attended a couple of seminars they had on new breeding techniques and another on training. We heard Elaine showed up here.”

Blaze nodded, shivering at the name of the woman. She truly didn’t like her.

Mac chuckled but he took the time to rub her back for a few moments. His hand came to rest on her side as he started talking again. “We also picked up a new stud. He comes highly recommended and cost us a pretty price as well. He has substance and is already proven, so we’ll have no trouble get our money back in stud fees.”

Mac slid his hand down and cupped Blaze’s breast. It filled his hand nicely and he began massaging the firm fleshy globe. “Patty told me about your grand tour. She is a sly minx that girl. She timed your visit so you’d be there in time to see a stallion cover a mare. That Ulysses is one big stud. There are no other stallions here quite that impressive,” he added.

He had seen many mares tremble in fear when they first saw the size of Ulysses’ aroused cock. More than one had injured herself trying to get away. That’s when they developed the hood for breeding. In the beginning they only used it for Uly, but now each mare was blindfolded. It kept the sire of their foal a secret, which was best. If the owner wished to let the dam know the sire, it would be up to them.

“We just happen to have quite a few mares waiting to foal. You saw a lot of swollen bellies, didn’t you?” he asked softly, not really expecting her to reply. “A mare’s breasts get bigger as well, holding the milk for her foal.” He caught his finger on the ring in her nipple. “We’ll take out your rings when your time is near. Once the foal is weaned, we can put them back in. you’ll be nursing so often, it would too much trouble to try and put them back in each time.”

He flicked her taut nipple with the tip of his finger. “I see you are still very sensitive. We have a specialist who will help you nurse. With the tenderness you might have some problems in the beginning. Of course, many a foal just latches on and won’t let go.” He chuckled and played with her nipple more aggressively, testing her response to his touch. “Such pretty titties on my pretty pony,” he told her softly, turning her over on her back. Both hands began massaging her large breasts, molding and squeezing her rhythmically.

Blaze moaned under the exquisite treatment. She closed her eyes and savored the seductive touch. She arched her back, thrusting her full breasts into his hands.

Mac slid one hand down her stomach, curling his fingers to slip between her fleshy lips.

She was already wet.

Mac groaned and wiggled his fingers, sliding one onto her clit and the other two inside her.

She twisted and moaned as he coaxed her body into full arousal.

“Tell me. Did you get all hot and bothered watching Ulysses give it good to that mare? Did you want it to be you he was slamming into? Did your cunt ache to be filled with his seed? Do you want your breasts to drip milk as you wait for your foal to drop? Did you want to be fucked so your belly could get big and round like a basketball? Mares are usually horny all the time when they are pregnant. We have several solutions that take care of the ache.”

He worked his hand furiously, pushing her headlong down slippery path.

Her hips thrust upwards, humping his hand for release of her tension. She whinnied, trying to say the word please.

“I know, baby. It hurts good, doesn’t it? Hold on, honey.” He slipped his fingers a little further, pressing and finding that good spot. “Let go, Blaze. Don’t hold back anymore!”

His words were like permission.

Blaze flew into an orgasm that shook her from head to toe. It went on and on. When he wiggled his fingers again, she came again, and then one last time. Exhausted, she dropped across him, unmoving. She couldn't protest her nakedness, the lewd position or the fact that a virtual stranger had his fingers up her cunt.

She wanted to groan, protest or do something.

There was nothing she could do beyond breathe, and moan a little.

Mac slid out from beneath her eventually, settling her on the mattress and covering her with the blanket. “Good night, sweet Blaze. Thank you for such a fiery and enthusiastic welcome home. I’ll see you in the morning. Sweet dreams.”

He left, closing and resetting the alarm behind him. He whistled and smiled all way back to the house.

Month 10

Blaze chomped at the bit between her teeth. She had been waiting for this moment for so long. Once again she was tethered to a sleek sulky cart.

Patty had led her onto the track. She adjusted the reins, and then ruffled Blaze’s mane. It had regrown to a full three inches in front and flopped onto her forehead. She was just waiting for the go ahead from Mac to have it cut again.

After his return, he had told her to let Blaze’s hair grow until further notice.

If she didn’t do something about it soon it would be flopping in her eyes.

“You ready girl? I can hardly wait!” Patty’s voice held her excitement, which echoed the intense feelings on her face. “You look fantastic and you’ve never been in better shape—even before the accident. Don’t even think about speed. Just run for the fun of it, okay?”

Blaze nodded, her hooves prancing nervously with her anticipation.

“Patty?”

Both women turned in surprise to see that Mac had joined them.

“Yeah, Mac?”

“You time us. I’m going to drive Blaze,” he told the other woman, tossing her a stop watch. He vaulted into the sulky, picking up the reins. “All right, Blaze. I know you’ve been dying to do this. Let’s see what you have.”

Patty looked at Blaze. For racing, the jockeys were usually small, like she was, around a hundred pounds. She didn’t know what Mac weighed, but she would guess it was one ninety with his height and muscle mass. “Mac, are you sure—”

“Just get over by the side and time us. We will start slow and just see what happens.”

Without using the crop with the sulky, he used only a slight gesture of the reins and Blaze started forward. She started to jog, but Mac held her back.

“Not yet, little one. There is no hurry. This is not a race remember.” Mac restrained her for the first time around the track. He then relaxed the hold and let her move into an easy jog. Once she had circled the track twice, he let the reins loosen a little, encouraging her to run at will.

Blaze knew the moment he relaxed the reins through his fingers. She took control and almost flew around the track. The cart made her muscles work harder, but it felt really good. She didn’t know which she liked better, running free or pulling the sulky. Knowing Mac was with her made this activity more pleasurable she acknowledged with a smile.

The fourth time around the track Patty yelled out a time to Mac.

Immediately he reined her in, slowing her down gradually. When they came to a full stop, she was breathing hard, sweating and she felt fantastic. The bridle prevented a smile.

Patty was running as she came towards them. “Wow! Mac, did you hear me?”

Mac stopped Blaze, putting the brake on the sulky. “Yes, Patty. I didn’t think you were going to shout it to the world though.”

Patty flushed, finally realizing what she’d done. “I’m sorry, Mac. I was so excited…I didn’t think.”

Mac jumped from the sulky. “Don’t worry about it.”

Before Mac could continue, a small group of people approached. William reached them first. He stepped over to Blaze, lightly holding onto her bridle. Meeting her gaze, he smiled. “You did very well, Blaze, beyond our expectations. You’ve made Mac very happy,” he added the last softly, so only she could hear.

Elaine, who couldn't keep up with William, saw him whispering to the pony and her jealousy seethed to the surface. She knew she’d been right about this pony being more important than any other to William. The intimate gesture was proof enough. When she got close enough, she stroked William’s arm before threading hers through it. “So the pony healed after all. I told you Domino didn’t really damage her. I’m surprised you let her out like this, darling.”

Damian, a good friend to both William and Mac, frowned at the woman’s statement. “You just don’t recognize prime racing stock when you see it, Elaine.”

The red-haired woman shook her head. Reaching out she flicked the longish forelock that was drooping down Blaze’s forehead. “She looks neglected, or even wild pony rather than belonging to a fine livery like this.”

William removed Elaine’s arm and walked over to William. “No pony at this stable is ever neglected.”

As if she suddenly realized she’d gone too far, the woman apologized. “Perhaps neglected was the wrong word to use, darling. I merely meant that her mane had grown terribly shaggy since the last time I’d seen her. I believe it was clipped quite short. I’m sure she’d enjoy that cut again. It truly seemed to suit her round face.”

Elaine had tried to make her voice sound genuinely concerned. In truth she hoped the pony was humiliated by the flattop if she got it again.

Mac pushed past the woman. He had never cared for her in the least. Standing beside Blaze, he reached up to twist the three inch swathe of hair around his finger. “Her mane got roached by mistake. It won’t happen again.”

“Besides, once William breeds with her, he’ll probably let her hair grow back in!” Damian joked, laughing as he patted William on his back.

Blaze jumped, shuffling forward, trying to move away from the others. She didn’t like the idea of William—

Mac could feel her quivering, and the restless movements in her hooves. He needed to get her out of there, now! He looked at William, trying to get his attention.

No luck there because Elaine was practically throwing herself on top of William, stopping non-stop.

“Don’t be ridiculous, Damian. William has no intention of breeding with one of his pony girls. His family lineage can be traced back two hundred years. He certainly wouldn't want to sully line with a stock brood mare.”

“Ouch! Elaine that’s a little rough,” Damian stated, wondering what William would do now. So many times he had wondered why William didn’t put the snooty bitch in her place. She might play at being a Mistress, but she often crossed the line when it came to punishment.

William had stiffened. The gentleman in him dictated he not answer rudeness with like behavior. Elaine had gone too far this time. “You’re wrong, Elaine. I purchased Blaze for just that reason. She was chosen for her beauty, her conformation. Her bones structure is perfect. The fact that she could run delayed our plans, that’s all.”

Blaze didn’t like hearing that all. She whinnied and fought Mac’s hold, even though it hurt. All of her thoughts had been for Mac. They had filled her nights when she lay awake and couldn't sleep. Her dreams had starred him almost since her arrival, even when he wasn’t in her life that much. So many times she had awakened, wanting him desperately.

Immediately she remembered seeing the mare that had been bred while she and Patty watched. The woman had no control. She didn’t even see who had taken her. The whole thing had been so inhuman—

Blaze jerked free of the hold Mac had on her. She careened away from his attempt at grabbing her and pulled on the sulky. It was enough to force the break to come free. She had no where to go except around the track, unless she tried to jump the track railing. Tempting though it was, she wasn’t so angry that she’d risk injury. It might break her free of the sulky, but the chance was too great. She was satisfied with running. As she took off, she heard Elaine complaining again.

“Just look at how undisciplined she is! She needs to be firmly whipped for this. She might have injured one of us with this foolish stunt.”

William watched as Mac took off to follow Blaze. He turned and glared at Elaine, pushing her away. “Just stop it, Elaine.” Before he said more, which he wanted to very much, he jogged off in the opposite direction, hoping to catch up to Blaze before she got very far.

Evening, That Day

Patty had finished taking care of Blaze, having taking a very long time to complete all the usual tasks. She had left Blaze with her arms free, her hooves removed and her tail hanging up and drying. Blaze’s hair was still damp, drying from her prolonged bath. Patty had even used a special conditioner, which had a coconut smell. The handler had a feeling a haircut would be ordered in the next day or so, especially after hearing Elaine blow up like she did today.

Outside the barn, she had almost closed the door when she heard Mac and William talking. She knew they had seen her, or they would have stopped talking. It was her place to identify herself. And she would have except she heard them mention Blaze’s name.

“Damn it, Mac! You have to make your mind up soon. You have to talk to her before the last month. It’s the unwritten law—it’s the minimal time for notification. The rules exist for a reason, man.”

“God! You think I don’t know all this, William! Every time I think it is time to broach the topic, something comes up. For a long I knew she wasn’t ready since we’d passed the initial breeding time. Then Patty took her to the breeding barn, and I was hopeful—”

“Yeah, well we saw her reaction today. Skittish is too tame a word to describe her response. She’ll have to agree to any breeding at this point, no matter who it is.”

Patty quickly cleared her throat, shutting the door loudly. She busied herself with the alarm pad, taking her time to make sure it was set properly. When she turned around, she saw both men standing a short distance away. “Oh, good evening Master William, Mac. I took a long time with Blaze, calming her down. She’s fine now. I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn’t already asleep.”

William nodded. “Thank you, Patty. You do a wonderful job with Blaze.”

Patty blushed. “It’s a pleasure to work with her. She’s the best pony I’ve ever worked with.”

William smiled. “I think it’s a safe bet to say she’d turned out to be one of the best things to happen to this farm. Well, we won’t keep you. It’s been a long day for you as well. Sleep in tomorrow, if you want.”

Patty shook her head. “Blaze will be looking for me and I didn’t tell I’d be late. Good night, sir. Mac.”

Neither man spoke as the female handler walked away from the barn, taking the shortcut across the paddock.

“Patty will miss Blaze when she leaves,” William added, looking out across the green grass, darkening as the sun began drifting lower, taking all the color of the day with it.

“If she leaves,” Mac corrected his friend. He wouldn't force her to stay, but he could try and persuade her. “I still have time.”

“Then you better get a wiggle on as my great-aunt liked to tell us whenever we dawdled over a task.”

Mac chuckled. “Thanks, William, I’ll keep that in mind.”
