The Long Walk Back

"Did you really think you could just sneak out of our little establishment and get clean away?

I suppose you did... which makes you either very brave or very dumb.

Still, you've earned .. well almost earned our respect by getting so far away and for so long. I mean, there's practically nothing between here and there but desert, dead grass and the occasional cactus. Few people get very far in this kind of terrain... and on foot? Even our horses are worn out...

Which is why we've decided that your punishment for escaping starts right here.

You walked all the way here, so you can walk all the way back.. strapped, harnessed, gagged and with the punishment collar round your neck like the proper, bad little runaway that you are. Not only that, but you'll be dragging our cart behind you, all the way, so we can give our horses a good rest on the return journey.

You're going to be our little ponygirl for the trip back. But don't worry, we're not going to work you to death dragging this cart under the blazing sun; we'll be travelling by night when it's cooler.

During the day you'll be resting up between each leg of the journey... staked out under sun wishing you'd never been born!'
